Smart Bulb Setup Instructions to Wi-Fi Network

 

1. Wi-Fi Network

   • Your Access Point is broadcasting 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi.

   • Your Access Point uses the same SSID (Wi-Fi name) for both 2.4 GHz and 5 GHz:

     • Log into your Access Point settings.

2. Connect Your Mobile Device

   • Ensure your phone or tablet is connected to the Wi-Fi network.

   • Turn off VPNs, Ad blockers, or private DNS settings during setup.

3. Enable Phone Permissions

   • Turn on Bluetooth on your device.

   • Enable Location Services.

   • If the app asks for permissions like Bluetooth or location, grant them.

4. Prepare the Smart Bulb

   • Make sure the bulb is within range of your Wi-Fi network.

   • Install the bulb in a standard light fixture and turn it on.

   • Wait for it to start blinking, indicating it’s in pairing mode.

     • If it doesn’t blink, turn the bulb off and on several times to reset it.

5. Install the Compatible App

   • Download and install the recommended smart home app.

   • Open the app and follow the instructions to add a new device.

   • Select the correct device type (e.g., "Lighting" → "Wi-Fi Bulb").

6. Complete the Setup

   • Let the app find and pair with the bulb.

   • Once paired, you can rename the bulb and assign it to a room.
