Apple products in particular have a networking feature that can sometimes interfere with the device’s ability to communicate with Aerwave networks. This feature, known as a randomized MAC Address (or Private WIFI Address), is found in the WIFI settings of most Apple devices. To disable this follow these steps:
- Go to the settings app in your iOS (Apple) device.
- Select "Wi-Fi".
- Select the information button next to your wireless network name. The information button is a lowercase "i" inside of a blue circle. For Apple Watches, simply select your wireless network name.
- Tap the toggle switch next to "Private Address" to disable the feature. For some Apple devices this feature may be labeled "Private Wi-Fi Address".
If this feature is disabled and you are still experiencing issues connecting, please contact our customer support!
