As the golden rule of internet troubleshooting, an equipment restart should always be your first step. Whether it's your TV, gaming system, or computer/laptop, rebooting can often solve a wide range of connectivity issues by clearing out temporary glitches and resetting crucial processes.
The restart process is the same for a TV, computer/laptop, or gaming system:
Step 1: Unplug the power cable from the back of the TV, computer/laptop, or gaming system.
Step 2: Wait 60 seconds.
Step 3: Plug the power cable back into the back of the equipment.
Step 4: Wait for the equipment to reboot (this can take up to 20 minutes).
If your internet speed is consistent with your contract but you feel it’s slower than expected, you can upgrade your speed through the Billing Info tab in your user profile.
If a speed test shows that your connection is significantly slower than what’s promised in your contract, please reach out to us. You can contact us via the green chat bubble located at the bottom right of our homepage (www.aerwave.com), or by calling us at 888-849-5040.
Please note: It's normal for wireless connections to be about 10-15% slower than the advertised speed, and the performance may also be limited by the wireless device’s maximum throughput speed.
