- Ensure that TV is compatible (models 2017 or later)
- Make sure firmware is updated
- Restart your TV.
- Press and hold the Power button on the Samsung TV for 5 to 8 seconds to restart the TV.
- Once the TV turns back on, relaunch the Paramount+ app.
- If you still have an issue, please restart the modem/router, then relaunch the Paramount+ app.
- Vizio TV
- Make sure firmware is updated
- Ensure that TV is compatible
- P-Series Quantum
- P-Series Quantum X
- M Series Quantum
- V- Series
- E- Series
- D- Series
- Force close the Paramount+ app:
- On the Vizio Smart TV remote, hold down the "Back" button to restart the app. If you do a quick hold (by holding it down halfway), it will display the exit menu.
- Relaunch the Paramount+ app.
- Perform a soft restart > System> Reset Admin>Soft Power Cycle>Select Yes.
- If you still have an issue, please restart the modem/router then relaunch the Paramount+ app.
- Clear cache
- Press the Home button on your remote, then go to: Settings > Apps > System Apps.
- Select Paramount+ to clear its cache, then choose: Clear Cache > OK.
- LG TV
- Ensure that TV is compatible (models 2018 or later)
- Make sure firmware is updated
- Relaunch your TV.
- Turn off the TV, then unplug it from the power source for 30 seconds.
- Re-connect the power source, turn on the TV, and relaunch the Paramount+ app.
- If you still have an issue, please restart the modem/router then relaunch the Paramount+ app.
- Sony TV
- Ensure that TV is compatible (models 2015 or later)
- Make sure firmware is updated
- Restart your TV.
- Press and hold the Power button on the Sony TV for 5 to 8 seconds to restart the TV.
- Once the TV turns back on, relaunch the Paramount+ app.
- If you still have an issue, please restart the modem/router, then relaunch the Paramount+ app.
- VIDAA TV
If you have trouble streaming, you can often clear the underlying issue by restarting your TV with these power-cycling steps:- Unplug the power cord from the back of the TV or from the outlet.
- Once the TV is unplugged, press and hold the power button on the TV for 15 to 30 seconds.
- Now plug the power cable back into the TV or outlet (whichever was disconnected) and power the TV on.
